History

The Legacy Studio was founded in 2006 by Sara Davenport. Sara learned to paint from her mother, Joyce Boulton Berry,        a professionally trained artist from Great Britian who established The Boulton Art Studio in the early 1970s.  Sara is continuing that legacy through her own paintings and through teaching students of all levels how to paint in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel and pen & ink.

Painting Classses

Painting lessons are available at The Legacy Studio and are taught by artist Sara Davenport.

All students are provided with individual instruction that targets their current level of expertise and focuses on their particular work. Students are also provided with handouts that supplement the instruction received in class. Beginning students may select to take lessons in any medium, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, pencil drawing and pen & ink. The maximum number of students in a class is 8, with each student progressing at their own pace on a work of their selection.

Thursday evenings: 6:00-8:00 and Saturday mornings: 9:00-11:00
